Blemishes on the skin due to exposure to the sun is a common problem for people with sensitive skin. However, there are home remedies that you can help you address this problem. To begin with, one needs to understand that the area around the eyes has to be treated differently, because the skin around the eyes is delicate. It’s important to make it a point to apply sunscreen on your face, 20 minutes before stepping out in the sun. Apart from this, you can also rely on some home remedies.
For your eyes
Apply pure almond oil daily and massage gently on the area in one direction. Leave this on for at least 15 minutes, and then wipe it off with moist cotton.
For your face
Use a mixture of curd and rice powder as a facial scrub once or twice a week. Apply this mixture only on the dark patches on your cheeks and rub gently on the skin with circular movements. Wash it off after a few minutes. You can also use a mixture of lime and honey and apply the same on these dark patches daily. Wash it off after 15 minutes with water. Once a week, make a face mask with a teaspoon of honey, curd, lemon juice, some ground almonds and egg white and add a little oatmeal to it as well. Apply this mixture on your face, avoid the area around the lips and your eyes. Wash it after half an hour. You can also use a mix of sandal powder and turmeric for your face, wash it off after a while for a clear glowing look.
