This doctor wore the most gorgeous jharokha lehenga by Sabyasachi for her grand Mehendi

When Mumbai based doctor, Rutuja Shah decided to tie the knot with beau Sanket Goradia, she wanted the best of everything and her wedding trousseau proved the same. The elegant bride decided to opt for ace couturier Sabyasachi Mukherjee to do her memorable wedding outfits. Besides her wedding outfit, Rutuja chose Sabya to design her Mehendi outfit which has become a hot property on Instagram.

Dr Rutuja Shah wore a regal Sabyasachi lehenga in multiple hues for her grand Mehendi and what made her lehenga so special was the traditional jharokha design. Sabyasachi share the pictures of Rutuja on his official handle, Brides of Sabyasachi.

A jharokha (or jharoka) is a type of overhanging enclosed balcony used in the architecture of Rajasthan. It was also used in Indo-Islamic architecture and Sabyasachi Mukherjee made beautiful use of the architectural element in the skirt and teamed it up with a contrasting dull blue choli. The look was finished with a beautiful dupatta.

Rutuja accessorised the look with a lovely choker and jhumkas.

The destination wedding held in Udaipur is also hitting the headlines for the bride’s beautiful mehendi design.

The pretty bride’s mehendi was executed by famous mehendi artist Hari Dalal, who designed a semi-portrait bridal mehendi on Rutuja’s hands. One palm of the bride featured the couple and the other showcased Rutuja with her parents. The henna design also featured varmala and sindoor on the forearms.

We loved Rutuja’s mehendi lehenga and detailing. Tell us how did you like it in the comment section below.
